2013 FMMUG Annual Meeting April 1 – 4, 2013
The Facilities Management Maintenance Users Group holds its Annual Meeting this year in San Diego at the newly acquired Wyndham San Diego Bayside Hotel and Conference Facility. The Agenda and event schedule are now available on the FMMUG site, and it promises to be an exciting event for all members.
Monday kicks off with a Welcome Reception evening and continues with informative sessions through Wednesday on topics ranging from lessons learned with Maximo upgrades to maintenance planning and scheduling. New Roundtable and “Ask the Experts” sessions also promise to deliver on helpful technical topics as well.
IBM will be well-represented, presenting sessions on new capabilities in Maximo, using Predictive Analysis, and a tech topics session. Certification testing is also available for those who need to validate their skills and update their credentials.
A standout feature of this event is the Vendor Pavilion, with a manageable number of Sponsor booths and people to visit trade show style on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Maven is an FMMUG Premier Elite Sponsor, and will be participating in a session Tuesday afternoon which will show how European Maximo Users are taking advantage of new asset connectivity and control technology – which is just now becoming available in North America. Maven has teamed up with SCHAD Automation to share a European MUG member’s experience with Extend 7000. This is a not-to-miss session for our Utilities and other members with SCADA-capable assets.
Stop by the Maven booth for a quick demo. You’ll be surprised at the new capability these tools provide that will let you not only receive asset alarm notifications, but let you respond with direct control access from any remote location. This technology has the potential to bring unprecedented public and employee safety benefits while extending asset life-span.
