Maintenance teams are mobile.  They solve problems in the field – they don’t need or want to be tied to a desk all day.  Asset management systems thrive on field data, but if your team spends countless hours entering that data, something is wrong.

IBM provides several mobility options, and third-party vendors provide still more.  Each one has unique strengths and weaknesses.  Because the volume of choices can be overwhelming, Maven has reviewed many of the available technologies and summarized them here.
